The Ivy welcome package, explained

Last updated: November 1, 2026

We built our welcome package to be something you can actually read in a couple of minutes and understand fully, not something buried in a wall of small print. Here's how it's structured, what the wagering requirement means in practice, and where to find the figures and full terms that apply to your account.

When you register with Ivy and make your first qualifying deposit, you unlock our welcome package: deposit-matched funds plus free spins on selected slots. We keep the structure deliberately simple. You deposit, we match a percentage of that deposit as bonus funds, and we credit a set number of free spins to use on eligible games. The exact match percentage, the spin count and the maximum bonus amount in GBP are confirmed on screen during registration and inside your account dashboard, and they're also set out in full on our Terms and Conditions page. We don't publish shifting numbers in marketing copy that don't match what you actually see at the till, so always treat the in-account figures and the terms page as the definitive source.

How the package is built

  • Qualifying deposit: a minimum deposit amount (shown at registration and on our Payments page) triggers the bonus. Deposits below that threshold don't qualify.
  • Deposit match: we add a percentage of your deposit as bonus funds, up to a maximum cap stated in your account and in the full terms.
  • Free spins: credited separately, usually released in batches over a number of days rather than all at once, and valid only on the slots we list as eligible.
  • Game weighting: not every game contributes equally toward wagering. Slots typically count fully, live dealer tables and certain table games count at a reduced rate or not at all.
  • Time limit: bonus funds and free spins expire after a set number of days if unused. That window is stated clearly in your account and in the terms.

Wagering requirement: what it actually means

A wagering requirement is the number of times you need to play through your bonus amount, or sometimes your deposit plus bonus combined, before any resulting winnings become withdrawable. If your bonus carries a wagering multiplier, that multiplier is stated plainly wherever the offer is presented, both at registration and in your account. We don't hide it in a separate document you have to go looking for, and we don't change it after you've opted in.

Eligible games and contribution rates

Free spins apply only to the slots named in your offer, usually titles from providers like Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Push Gaming and Relax Gaming. Bonus funds can typically be used more widely across our library, but how much each game type contributes toward clearing your wagering requirement varies. Slots generally count at or near 100%, while live dealer tables from providers such as Evolution Gaming, and certain table games, contribute at a lower weighting or are excluded entirely. Check the contribution table in your account or the terms page before you build a session plan around a particular game.

Why we keep this page separate from marketing copy

Bonus terms change from time to time, whether that's the match percentage, the minimum deposit or the wagering multiplier. Rather than update every page across the site every time a detail shifts, we keep the live, authoritative version in one place: your account and our Terms and Conditions page. This bonus page exists to explain the structure and logic of the offer, not to quote numbers that might drift out of date. That's a deliberate choice, and it means you're never relying on stale marketing text when real money is involved.

The Ivy welcome package, explained

What exactly is matched in the Ivy welcome package?

We match a percentage of your first qualifying deposit in bonus funds, plus credit a fixed number of free spins on selected slots. The exact percentage, spin count and cap in GBP are shown at registration, in your account dashboard, and in full on our Terms and Conditions page.

What does the wagering requirement mean for my winnings?

It's the number of times you need to play through the bonus amount, or deposit plus bonus, before related winnings can be withdrawn. The multiplier that applies to your offer is stated at registration, in your account, and in the Terms and Conditions.

Do all games count the same toward clearing wagering?

No. Slots generally contribute at or near 100%, while live dealer tables and some table games contribute less or are excluded. Check the weighting table on our Terms and Conditions page before relying on a specific game to clear wagering.

What happens if I don't use my bonus or free spins in time?

Bonus funds and free spins expire after a set number of days, shown in your account dashboard when the offer is credited. Unused bonus funds or spins lapse once that window closes, so it's worth checking the countdown in your account.

Where can I see the current minimum deposit and bonus cap?

The live minimum deposit and maximum bonus amount in GBP are shown during registration and inside your account under Bonuses, and are confirmed in detail on our Terms and Conditions page.
